Our Mission
The mission of the Texas Alliance for Patient Services is to advance the professional development of patient representatives and related patient service professionals by promoting the improvement of patient care and the extension of adequate health care services for all persons.

Who Are We

The Texas Alliance for Patient Services (TAPS) is made up of individuals who have substantial responsibility to represent the patient (i.e. patient advocates, social workers, nurses, etc.) and to provide a liaison between patients and the healthcare institution as a whole.

TAPS is affiliated with the Texas Hospital Association (THA) & the Society for Healthcare Consumer Advocacy (SHCA).
