Continuing Education Units Available for Social Workers

• The National Social Workers Association (NSWA) approved this program for up to 11.5 continuing education units for hours attended at the conference. NASA CEU certificates of attendance will be awarded for hours attended at the conference.

 Continuing education units for nurses have been applied for and pending approval

• The American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation, a division of the American Nurses Association (ANA)
• The Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)

Pending approval by the ANA and ACPE, CEU certificates of attendance will be awarded for hours attended at the conference.

Cancellation Policy - Registration fee paid, less a 25% cancellation charge, is refundable if notice is received in writing seven (7) calendar days prior to the program (before 5:00 pm Tuesday, August 26th). Substitutions will be accepted (additional fees may be assessed as appropriate for substitute attendee’s membership status). Cancellation or substitution notifications should be sent to Linda Dunahoo, fax 512-382-0309 or email ldunahoo@taps-online.org. No refunds after August 26th.

Parking Information - There is no charge for self-parking at the hotel. Valet parking is available for a fee of $10 per night or $5 for day parking.

Transportation - The San Luis Resort Spa and Conference Center is less than an hour’s drive from Houston, three hours from Austin and five hours from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Contact Galveston Limousine Service (409-740-5466 or www.galvestonlimousineservice.com) at least 48 hours prior to your arrival at ground transportation to Galveston at the following rates:
