2017 AnnaMary Lindsey Award

The 2017 AnnaMary Lindsey Award Winner will be announced at the 2017 TAPS Annual Conference.

Every year, at the TAPS Annual Conference, members of the association honor one member for their generous contributions to the Texas Alliance for Patient Services. The nominee:

  • demonstrates an earnest dedication to patient advocacy
  • contributes to  improvements in the field
  • endeavors to promote patient advocacy through the education of the community, fellow employees and self
  • displays exemplary personal characteristics that demonstrate the spirit of the Texas Alliance for Patient Services

The criteria for nomination is:

  • A person must be an active, participating member of TAPS
  • Must be a member of TAPS for at least three consecutive years
  • Must be nominated by an active member of TAPS
  • Must have been in the role of Patient Advocate or in a related patient services role for three years or longer

This accolade, previously known as Patient Representative of the Year, was named for the first ever recipient, AnnaMary Lindsey, whose contributions to TAPS have left a lasting impression.
